Port Ainé ski resort is a 45-minute drive from Hotel Apartaments Trainera in Esterri d'Àneu. It is a resort with 26.7 skiable kilometres. Its northern orientation ensures good snow quality throughout the season, making it very attractive for skiers and snowboarders looking for good conditions.

Tavascan is a small ski resort that combines alpine skiing (5 skiable kilometres) and cross-country skiing (12.6 skiable kilometres). It is located in the Pallars Sobirà region, 30 minutes by car from Hotel Apartaments Trainera. It is a family-friendly resort, also ideal for the more adventurous, who are looking for an unspoilt natural environment.
